SCAM ALERT!!!
This practice UP-SELLS EVERYTHING! My husband was under nitrous oxide for 1 hour and 10 minutes... they said they were doing him a favor by not charging him another hour for the extra 10 minutes...then while he was under the influence of nitrous oxide they sold him on $110 cavity treatment and didn't let him get out of the chair until he paid. They talked him into 2 crowns for $2,200 each....with insurance! So...he paid 1/2 up front. Once again...they brought him the invoice while he was still sitting in the hygienist chair. He went back for his permanent crowns and they would not even take him back until he paid the balance in advance! SCAM ALERT!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thanks for sharing your feedback, we’re glad to have the opportunity to clear up any misunderstandings. The treatment plan for the treatment you mentioned was discussed and signed prior to the visit. We do not discuss treatments with patients while they are on nitrous oxide; however, once a patient is off of nitrous oxide, there are no residual effects, thus, it does not inhibit abilities in any way. As per our office procedures we do collect all balances prior to placing any permanent restoration. We invite you to contact us directly if you have any further questions.

This dentist just wants his money! Went to another dentist for a second opinion and I'm so happy I did! The difference in procedures and price was over $1000! Dentist is also rude to his staff which don't deserve it! Also, anytime I made an appointment they would call to reschedule because the dentist had something come up. I never write reviews but wanted to prevent someone from spending more money than they need to. Look elsewhere!

We’re so sorry to see this feedback. We make recommendations based on our findings and what we believe will have the best outcomes for the patient. However, each dentist will have their own recommendations and fees that are based upon a number of factors like experience, quality of materials used, etc. We have sent your records elsewhere as you requested, and wish you the best.

I have been going to prestige dentistry For the last couple of years and have spent thousands of dollars there.Four months ago they put a cap on and the pain never went away. They then had to remove it and put a new one on and I got charged again. Last week I turned 65 and got Medicare and they will not accept.the new insurance is better then company supplied. First time I ever felt old. Be aware of all the charges and games they play.

PLEASE read the previous reviews. I was a dental assistant for 10 years.

Dr. Bonser is fantastic and truly cares about the quality of his work but mostly about the patients. Don't hesitate, its a beautiful office too, clean and updated.

I went to this office Dec. 15th, 2021.
I called to get there prices and the receptionist told me it would be for a root canal & crown it would be $1600. for 1 tooth.
I made the appt and went in for the work. I was treated very nice, and anxious to get it done because it was hurting me, the crown that was on was coming loose. So I was in the chair for 5 hours, my tongue was all cut up, it hurt for a week. Well I said I didn't want space between it & the new crown because food was always getting
Stuck there. So the dentist made the crown on the 3D computer and was put in. When I went to checkout they said my bill was for $2612.00. I was pretty groggy and wanted to get out of there, so I handed her my credit card, not really realizing
that it was 1000. more!
So they got me! And to make matters worse last month they sent another bill for $ 126. and I don't know what that is about! So if you go there make sure you have in writing!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We have searched our records, and we don't have a patient by this name, nor do we have any treatment like you described on Dec. 15 or anytime that week. Perhaps you meant to review another dentist in the Palm Harbor area?

I'm not the biggest fan of having dental work done, but the Dentist and entire team at Prestige Dentistry make going to the Dentist almost fun! Lol! I recently had a lot of dental work completed. Dr. Bonser and Melissa did an amazing job! Very caring and professional. They explained everything they were doing and most importantly it was painless! I highly recommend Prestige Dentistry for all your dental needs!

Office staff is absolutely miserable and rude, was hung up on twice mid sentence and my calls were ignored when I tried to reach back out and complain about this very unprofessional treatment. Will not be using this dentists office ever again, also the quote I received was also way off from 3 others I received. Not only is your staff rude and unprofessional but extremely over priced. Your nurse was nice enough to help me find cheaper offices due to price gouging. Cant put 0 stars so you get one Oh and I will be leaving reviews on google and anywhere else your company is affiliated with regarding this situation. I wouldn't send my dog to this miserable office!

I would do 0 starts if I could. This place is a scam. I have insurance and they make up codes that they know the insurance company will not pay so you're stuck holding the bill. They pressure you into work that you may or may not need. And their bedside manners are horrific. They do not pay any attention to the patient. The dr had the little mirror jammed in the bottom of my mouth that it hurt and if i pulled away he just pushed it in more., but even noticing or caring if he was causing me pain. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!!!!

I had to go back 2 times to have them fixed. I am not a picky person nor did I expect perfection but I'd expect them to look decent at best! The lighting isn't great in the place and I will fault myself for leaving without really being able to see my teeth well in the mirror. Let's fast forward to today. It has only been a month since the bonding was done and it chipped this morning. I call and tell them and I don't want to see Dr. Bonser again. I have lost all confidence in him. He's a nice guy and I would trust him with general dentistry but he definitely lacks the experience for cosmetic dentistry. They tell me to come in and see Dr. Horwitz. I get in the exam room and the hygienist tells me he can't fix my tooth today or even come in the room to talk to me but she can smooth it out. Yeah no thanks! I go to the front desk to see when he can actually fix it and the soonest they have is in October! I did not pay over $1000 to walk around with a chipped tooth for almost 3 weeks. The receptionist said she told me on the phone "they" would smooth it out not the dentist the hygienist goes to talk to Dr. Horwitz, who has never treated me or seen my teeth in person, and comes back and tells me he has reviewed my pictures and I'm the reason the tooth chipped. That excuse may have worked if I didn't avoid hard foods and wear my night guard every night. This man couldn't even bring me to his office to talk to me in person. I've never been treated like this at any practice, medical or dental. I was willing to give them another chance but the fact that they weren't willing to squeeze me in for their mistake really put a nail in the coffin. I would never recommend a practice that not only is incompetent but doesn't even own up to their mistakes to try to make it better.
